Peripatetic Music

In addition to our curricular music lessons, instrumental lessons are supplied to Overstone Primary School through the Northamptonshire Music Service at a cost to parents.

The instrumental lessons are arranged according to the interest expressed by students.  However, it is necessary for a minimum of 6 students to learn a specific instrument to enable that peripatetic member of staff to visit the school.

Currently there are 3 peripatetic members of staff that visit us. These staff offer the following instrumental lessons:

Mr Trevor Dyson – Violin/Viola (Year 2's upwards)

Ms Rosalind Webber – Guitar (Year 3's upwards

Ms Iona Walker – Clarinet/Flute (Year 3's upwards) and
                                     Saxophone (Year 5's upwards)
